Kemp Group converts Atlas to electric version

Enabling zero-emission execution across complex, large contractor projects

In response to the growing demand for zero-emission operations, Kemp Groep, under the supervision of the German Atlas factory and in collaboration with AMT, has successfully converted a brand-new Atlas 165W into an electric Atlas E165W.

The electric transformation has subtly altered the machine's appearance, but it has significantly expanded the possibilities for zero-emission projects for major contractors. The diesel engine has been replaced with an electric motor, and the two lithium-ion battery boxes replace part of the counterweight. The counterweight has been completely redesigned to maintain stability after the batteries were installed. With an impressive energy capacity of 184 kWh each, the batteries enable the machine to operate for up to 10 hours on a full charge!
