Due to expected growth in the rail market and the increasing demand for machine electrification, the two parties have decided to enter into a cooperation agreement. The sector is expected to undergo significant changes in the coming years: the electrification of machines requires new expertise, a different way of working, and additional technical support. To be well prepared for this development, Van Tetering sought a reliable and professional partner capable of guiding this transition. AMT, an experienced player with extensive expertise in electric drivetrains and a specialist in the rail industry, is the ideal partner. By collaborating with AMT, Van Tetering will be able to continue providing customers with high-quality and innovative solutions in the future.
Reesink Construction Equipment NL B.V. will remain the exclusive importer of Atlas equipment for the Benelux; together, both parties will continue to serve customers throughout Europe with railway and zero-emission Atlas machines. From its Steenbergen location, Van Tetering Railroad Equipment will continue to provide the service its customers are accustomed to.
This step strengthens AMT’s position in the market. “The Van Tetering team brings a tremendous amount of experience to Breda. We look forward to jointly offering a broader and stronger portfolio to our customers,” says AMT.
In preparation for the relocation of several employees, all necessary arrangements will be made in the coming months to ensure these Van Tetering staff members receive a smooth transition and warm welcome at their new location in Breda in January.
