Royal Reesink completes acquisition of Lalesse Europe B.V.

Royal Reesink N.V. (“Royal Reesink”) today completed the acquisition of all the shares in the capital of Lalesse Europe B.V. (“Lalesse”). Lalesse is one of the leading providers of warehouse cranes and complete warehouse systems. The management of Lalesse, consisting of Hans Niels, Daan Niels and Erna Niels, will stay on and work together with Royal Reesink on the further growth of the company.

Gerrit van der Scheer, CEO Royal Reesink: “This acquisition is an excellent fit with Royal Reesink’s vision, whereby the Reesink Material Handling Equipment division, together with the companies Motrac Intern Transport in Almere, Motrac Handling&Cleaning in Antwerp (Belgium) and Pelzer Fördertechniek in Kerpen (Germany), will be further expanded with complementary activities in the field of integrated system solutions in automated warehouses.

Hans Niels, Managing Director Lalesse: “This acquisition provides Lalesse with an excellent opportunity to focus further on its core business, which is the development of automated warehouse systems. Both Lalesse and Reesink Material Handling Equipment foresee a growing market for warehouse automation. Lalesse will be better able to respond to this development as a division of Royal Reesink.
