Transition of Agrifac Importership in Canada
December 9, 2025 - Winnipeg/Steenwijk – Reesink Canada Holdings Inc. and Agrifac Machinery B.V. are pleased to announce a strategic transition in their long-standing partnership. Reesink Canada will transfer its Agrifac importership to Agrifac, as both companies align their focus to best serve Canadian farmers and dealers.
Reesink Canada Wholesale (RCW), based in Winnipeg and responsible for distributing Agrifac machinery to equipment dealerships across Canada, will transfer its responsibility of importership and distribution back to Agrifac. This transition will see current RCW employees, parts warehousing and supply remain intact and transferring to Agrifac. This ensures a smooth transition, maintaining the expertise, service, and customer support required.
Agrifac, headquartered in Steenwijk, the Netherlands, will assume full responsibility for the import and distribution of its self-propelled sprayers and related solutions in Canada. This step allows Agrifac to strengthen its ‘go to market’ plans and reinforce its commitment to Canadian agriculture.
For Reesink Canada, this move marks a further step in its strategy of focusing on Dealership and Retail activities.
Doug Pilsner, President of Reesink Canada:
“This transition is the evolutionary next step for both organizations. The Canadian AG Equipment market is very familiar with the Manufacturer as Distributor business model, and Agrifac is taking its next growth steps in Canada. Reesink is streamlining its Canadian operations to be more focused on our Retail Channel of Equipment Dealerships. With Agrifac taking a more direct role in the Canadian market, we ensure both organizations play to their strengths. Most importantly, it means improved support and value for our customers across Canada.”
Wim van den Bosch, CEO of Agrifac Machinery B.V.:
“Canada has always been an important market for Agrifac, and we are grateful to Reesink Canada for building such a strong foundation over the years. Taking the next step to directly manage our operations in Canada allows us to be closer to our customers and further enhance the service and innovation they expect from Agrifac.”
Both companies express their appreciation for the successful collaboration to date and their shared commitment to ensuring a seamless transition for customers, dealers, and partners throughout Canada.
